The West of England Laser Centre is situated at the Nuffield Hospital Taunton in Somerset, and is run by Mr Kim Hakin FRCS FRCOphth, Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon.

Using modern dermatological lasers, the Centre is able to offer treatment for various skin problems, such as facial lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, moles, age and sunspots, thread veins, and unwanted hair and tattoos.

Botox injections are available for frown, forehead and laughter lines around the eyes, and for excessive underarm sweating.

Facial lines, creases and wrinkles can also be treated with injections of Restylane, the modern version of collagen. Restylane Vital is also now available to treat those areas that "give away" your age, such as your neck, decolletage and the backs of your hands.

Blepharoplasty - surgery for "baggy eyelids" - is also available, in conjunction with laser or Botox, if necessary, as well as surgery for other eyelid problems and watery eyes.
